Our employees come from a variety of backgrounds within research, healthcare, industry and the academic sphere.Job DescriptionThe Global Brand Director will support the pre-commercialization / commercialization strategic and tactical plan in close collaboration with the entire Global Specialty Care TA cross functional team, the Global Medical and Scientific Affairs team and in support of in-country sales and marketing.This role will play a pivotal role brand operations to include Strategic and Tactical Plan Development, Branding and Creative, Strategic Communication, Budget Management, and Key Performance Indicator Monitoring.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive the Olezarsen brand, in close partnership with the Senior Global Brand Director Olezarsen to ensure a successful launch ensuring strategies are successfully developed and executed in a timely manner to realize product potential and support country activitiesSupport the development and coordinate the implementation of Global cross-functional Brand Strategy, positioning and communication, congress strategy, KOL management, and Training plan across all regions, affiliates and Sobi markets during all phase of Olezarsen life cycle, funneled into the Global Commercialization PlanOwn the day to day brand marketing activities in alignment with major milestones, budget and defined KPIsWork with the Global teams, including cross-functional representatives from Market Access, Medical, Patient Access, Regulatory, Tech Ops, Business Intelligence, Finance and align team output to an integrated strategy for the brandPartner strategically and operationally with the Senior Brand Director Olezarsen in daily activities and specific processes (e.g. LRP, EPR/SPR/ExCom reviews, CEO Meetings)Build and nurture a fruitful partnership with Affiliates to gather key insights and provide them with strategic guidance and tactical support to ensure local successful launch preparation and execution in line with business opportunities and needsEngage with external stakeholders (e.g. KOLs) to set the best foundation to realize Olezarsen’s ambitionControl of External Expenses, promotion, advertisement maximizing Sobi resources and in alignment with financial requirements and forecasting control. Ensure product(s) A&P stays within budgetRepresent the commercial function in the Global Enterprise Team (GET) as a core member and work in alignment with peers to guarantee the appropriate synergies and tackle the common obstacles. Liaise with Ionis (commercialization partner), to maximize the potential of a global footprint.Operate with high ethical standards in line with the Sobi corporate values and SOPs by ensuring ongoing completion of all required initial and ongoing training in local regulations and policies, and adherence to those regulations and policies for self and any direct reports.Additional duties may be assigned, as neededQualificationsUniversity degree level education – medical/science basedProven solid experience of global pre-launch and launch activities in rare cardiometabolic disease states (preferably in the lipid space – statins, PCSK9)Strong brand management experience gained in at least 5 years in global roles and/or leadership roles in marketing/commercial departmentsProject Management skills and result-driven attitudeMulti stakeholder project management and leadership experience, delivering results on time and within budgetAdditional commercial experiences including sales, market analytics and business intelligence would be a plusAbility to manage and coordinate external consultants and agenciesDemonstrable customer relationship management experienceSkills / Knowledge / LanguagesRequired:Fluency in written and spoken EnglishAdditional European language skills is an advantageProficient IT skills in PowerPoint, Excel and WordAdept in using MS TeamsPersonal AttributesCross cultural awareness, effective communication and team working skills, good interpersonal and social skillsFlexible/agile with an ability to manage change, operate in an environment of ambiguity and be solution-focusedIndirect leadership capabilities, ability to influence, motivate and delegate without a direct leadership mandateProject management experienceExcellent planning, organising and coordination skillsDemonstrate, embrace and align with the company’s values (Care, Ownership, Ambition, Urgency and Partnership)Ability to control and flourish in an environment of ambiguity, uncertainty and stressful situationsSolid strategic and business acumenSignificant track record of demonstrated personal leadership with ability to influence, lead and get the job done without line authority and in all conditionsCross cultural working appreciation and experienceKnowledgeable in medical and technical aspectsAutonomy, entrepreneurship attitude, and proactivitySolution-oriented and pragmatic attitudeEffective communication and team working skillsPersonal transparency, candour and full integrityDesirableAbility to see the big picture
