Operating from the corporate office, the role ensures consistent culinary excellence across all ships, provides leadership to shipboard culinary teams, manages food cost and safety standards, and supports brand innovation.Your ImpactCulinary strategy & Menu development: Develop and implement fleetwide culinary concepts that align with brand positioning and guest expectations.Create seasonal and speciality menus for restaurants, buffet, and speciality dining outlets.Collaborate with corporate and TRV chefs, nutritionists, and beverage teams on menu innovation, recipes, and food and beverage integration.Evaluate global food trends and incorporate them into the cruise culinary offering.Fleet support & operational oversight: Serve as the primary corporate liaison for all shipboard executive chefs and culinary management teams.Conduct regular ship visits to assess operations, food quality, consistency, sanitation and staffing performance.Oversee culinary workflow standards, recipe compliance and production planning.Financial management: Review fleetwide food cost budgets and implement cost-control initiatives without compromising quality.Analyse financial performance, purchasing efficiency, menu engineering, waste reduction initiatives, and inventory controls.Partner with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure quality sourcing and vendor compliance.Quality assurance & Food safety: Maintain strict adherence to HACCP, USPH and International food safety standards.Develop and update SOPs for culinary operations, sanitation, allergen protocols, and guest safety.Support onboard teams during inspections and external audits.Training & Talent development: Develop training programs in conjunction with the culinary travelling trainers and learning and development team, supervise that the Culinary Academy have the pertinent curriculum to affectively prepare new galley hires.Support recruitment, performance evaluation, succession planning and crew certification requirements.Cross -functional Leadership: Collaborate with Operations, Hotel, Marketing, Guest experience, Beverage, Procurement, HR, and New Build teams.Participate in ship refurbishments and new ship launches, designing culinary layouts and selecting equipment.Provides input for promotional campaigns, food photography, and onboard culinary experiences.Partners with the leaders of Yacht Club, Speciality restaurants, Bar, Buffet & Fast casual dining, and Main dining rooms to design menus and follow guest feedback.Your Journey so farBachelor’s degree in culinary arts, Hospitality management, or equivalent professional experience.10+ years of progressive culinary leadership, including experience in cruise lines, hotels, luxury resorts, and high-volume multi-unit operations.Strong knowledge of international cuisines, modern culinary trends, menu engineering, and large-scale production.Proven financial acumen and team‑leadership capability.Excellent communication skills; comfortable working in a global, multicultural environment.Ability to travel frequently (ship visits, vendor evaluations, trade events).Your EssentialsStrategic culinary visionOperational excellenceLeadership and coachingCost control & analyticsCreativity & innovationStrong organisation & project managementAdaptability in fast‑paced environmentsSpoken and written English competenciesOur commitmentWe are committed to building a future that values diverse perspectives, embraces the world beyond borders, and fosters an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued, respected and empowered to be their authentic selves.
