In this responsible position, you will be primarily responsible for independently managing accounts payable within the accounting team. You will ensure a smooth process from master data maintenance to payment runs. You will also be the point of contact for internal stakeholders and the escalation level for complex cases involving suppliers/service providers.
Tasks
1. Managing accounts payable, including closing tasks
2. Accounting, assigning, and posting invoices in accordance with company standards and legal requirements
3. Timely execution of payment runs and manual payments
4. General financial tasks and evaluations (., due date analyses, KPI reports) for the management
5. Processing payment reminders and internal/external communication
6. Assisting with the training of apprentices in the area of accounting
7. Identifying potential for improvement and assisting with its implementation
8. Collaborating with purchasing (SCM), controlling, treasury, and external partners, auditors, etc.
Profile
9. Completed basic commercial training or business school
10. Further training in accounting or comparable qualification
11. At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role in accounting, ideally in an international environment
12. Expertise in the area of value added tax is an advantage
13. Independent, self-reliant personality with a high level of self-motivation
14. Analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and a flair for numbers
15. Structured, reliable, and precise way of working
16. Enjoy working in a small team
17. Sound knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
18. Very good communication skills in German, good knowledge of English
