Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the planning and coordination of civil infrastructure projects, specifically focusing on structures and bridges within the railway context.
* Develop project documentation for regulatory approval, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines.
* Prepare and submit Plan Approval Procedure (PAP) files to the Federal Office of Transport (FOT).
* Cultivate strong relationships with local stakeholders, authorities, and residents through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will possess solid experience in civil engineering project management, preferably in railway or transportation infrastructure. A background from an engineering consultancy or as an owner's representative is highly valued. Strong understanding of Swiss regulatory processes, including FOT and PAP, is a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Preparation: Develop project documentation, ensure compliance, and prepare necessary submissions.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with local stakeholders, authorities, and residents to build strong relationships and foster open communication.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Swiss regulatory processes, including FOT and PAP requirements.
* Representation: Represent the project at public meetings and with regulatory bodies, effectively communicating project details and progress.
Requirements
* Background: Solid experience in civil engineering project management, ideally in railway or transportation infrastructure.
* Expertise: Strong understanding of Swiss regulatory processes, including FOT and PAP.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage with multilingual stakeholders.
* Languages: Fluency in French and German; English is an asset.
