Engineer for Robotic Applications – Mechatronics
Position type: Full‑time
We are looking for a skilled engineer to join our development team at the Stans site. The role focuses on designing and building mobile robotic solutions and inspection equipment for the oil, gas and hydrogen pipeline sector.
Responsibilities
* Develop components and prototypes for the ROSEN Robotics toolbox.
* Design creative mobile robotic systems for challenging pipeline inspection requirements.
* Explore various hardware technologies and adapt existing or newly developed components.
* Collaborate with ROSEN experts in sensors, actuators, electronics, mechanical design and operational business.
* Support the operational business in rolling out new products and services.
Qualifications
* Degree (or doctorate) in robotics, mechanical/electrical engineering, or a related field.
* Practical experience with robotics or autonomous systems.
* Strong enthusiasm for electronic system design and a hands‑on mindset.
* Capability to work under pressure, good communication skills and a proactive, solution‑oriented attitude.
* Good written and spoken English; German is a plus.
