Group Technology Operations
Group Technology Operations (GTO) is providing the IT infrastructure foundations, cyber security services and digital platforms across Zurich Insurance. With more than 7,700 technology experts across 24 countries, supporting over 3,000+ applications and the underpinning technology stack, GTO is the key enabler in becoming an AI‑native insurer.
What you will do
* Act as an IT Audit Manager, delivering a series of audits, collaborating with audit team members across Group Audit or handling more complex areas directly.
* Work with senior team members to undertake risk assessment audit planning, develop scope, key risks, and assess the environment, including leveraging Data Analytics.
* Leverage IT fundamentals and GenAI, manage day‑to‑day stakeholder relationships, and produce high‑quality audit reports with business impact and root‑cause analysis.
* Foster a culture of quality, collaboration and continuous learning, enabling the team to deliver impactful audit outcomes.
* Contribute to strategic priorities and help build a leading audit function using innovative audit approaches, new‑world skills (Data Analytics, IT fundamentals and GenAI) and Agile methods.
* Support advancement of GA IT & Operations Centre of Excellence and upskilling of the function in IT fundamentals.
* Deliver audits to exceptional quality, on time and within budget, leveraging Centers of Excellence expertise.
* Prepare and deliver clear, impactful audit reports with key findings and agreed actions to senior management.
* Build and maintain strong day‑to‑day relationships with stakeholders throughout audits.
* Actively coach and upskill team members, encouraging continuous learning and a growth mindset.
* Enhance new‑world skills in Data, IT and GenAI, ensuring audit outcomes are future‑proof.
* Support wider audit activities such as risk assessment, audit planning, meetings, and training.
* Uphold ethics and integrity, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations and internal policies.
What you bring
* IT bachelor’s or master’s degree and/or professional qualification, e.g., CISA, CCAK, CISSP, CCSP.
* At least 7 years’ experience in IT Audit, IT Risk Management or IT Management in the financial industry, ideally at a Manager level with strong hands‑on experience.
* Strong understanding of large enterprise technology environments, including architecture, infrastructure and operations. Technical knowledge of cloud (Azure, AWS), data lake platforms, APIs, AI, and emerging technologies.
* Experience in complex, fast‑moving and international organizations.
* Strong understanding of Internal Audit Standards, methodology and internal control frameworks and excellent report‑writing skills.
* Strong relationship‑management skills, with a proven record of influencing stakeholders across various levels.
* Experience dealing with regulators and/or external stakeholders preferred.
* Knowledge of the power and application of new‑world skills (Data, IT and AI).
* Strong project‑management skills, able to organize teams, prioritize tasks, guide and coach other team members to deliver on time and to high‑quality standards.
* Passion and enthusiasm to continue growing yourself and others around you.
* Fluency in English; German language skills are an asset.
