Responsibilities Data Integration: Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency, quality, and accuracy during the extraction, transformation, and loading phases.
ETL Process Development: Design, develop, and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to efficiently move data from source systems to data warehouses or other target systems.
Performance Optimization: Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency, identifying and addressing bottlenecks to improve data processing speed and reliability.
Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data throughout the ETL process, implementing validation and error-checking mechanisms.
Documentation and Maintenance: Document ETL processes, maintain ETL scripts, and update processes as necessary to adapt to changing data sources and requirements.
Your profile 5+ years of proven data engineering delivery experience.
Master’s degree or equivalent in IT, computing, data science, mathematics, statistics, or other numerate discipline.
Experience with Spark/Databricks, cloud platforms (Azure, GCP), and building data pipelines/ETL/ELT solutions using Python, SQL, and PySpark; passion for learning new technologies and staying updated on modern data engineering trends.
Strong leadership skills, solution design, stakeholder management, user-centric approaches, and digital agility.
Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud technologies (Blob storage, ADLS, Azure DevOps, Logic Apps, Functions), Databricks (Unity, PySpark), Kafka, Neo4J, PowerBI, Tableau, Thoughtspot, D3.js.
Innovative mindset, ownership of key project areas, and cross-platform project experience.
Fluent in English; knowledge of French, German, or Italian is a plus.
