We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Video Editor / Post-Production Lead to spearhead our creative post-production efforts.
In a few words, we’re looking for … We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Video Editor / Post-Production Lead (100%) to drive our creative post-production efforts. In this central role, you will not only craft exceptional video content but also guide and manage editing teams, mentor junior talent, and oversee the entire post-production process from start to finish. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, impactful video content, defining visual styles, managing VFX and sound workflows, and resolving complex technical and creative challenges. Your expertise will ensure our edits are dynamic, precise, and emotionally engaging, balancing creative vision with project objectives.
At 23bis, Fridays are off. Meaning, we have a 4-day week for full-time (100%) employees. We are looking for someone to start by September 1st 2025.
You have a minimum of 8+ years of professional experience in video editing and post-production, and can demonstrate that you’ve lead large-scale projects and teams before. A strong portfolio or showreel is required for the application.
Skills You'll Need to Bring Editing You’re an expert in editing large-scale projects, with the proven ability to lead and manage editing teams while mentoring junior editors.
You have a perfect understanding of the entire post-production workflow, from pre-editing, to the offline and online process, to the final delivery.
You can demonstrate your ability to identify and resolve complex technical and creative challenges in editing.
You’re familiar with advanced color grading techniques in Davinci Resolve, confident in defining the visual style of a project and briefing/collaborating with external colorists.
You have experience or the ability to train other colorists.
VFX You can easily and confidently work across key areas of visual effects, from cleaning up assets, precision rotoscoping, high-end compositing, to the seamless integration of complex elements.
You have the ability to lead VFX teams on major projects.
Sound You have experience in sound design and sound mix and a sensitivity for rhythm, contrast, and texture to craft immersive and dynamic edits.
You’re skilled in managing sound-related workflows, collaborating with creative sound studios, and delivering polished, high-quality audio experiences.
Software You have expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro. This one’s essential.
You can confidently work with After Effects. DaVinci Resolve is highly desirable.
General You have a profound understanding in and passion for visual storytelling, timing, rhythm, and pacing.
You know your boundaries and how to communicate them. This way, your workload is optimal and you can confidently meet tight deadlines.
You’re fluent in English or French (written and spoken). Proficiency in German would be a plus!
Salary and benefits The salary range for this role is 61,000 CHF - 72’000 CHF, depending on your experience.

Flexible office location and hours (7am to 7pm from Zurich, Lausanne, or remote)
Education allowance: 1,000 CHF per year (pro-rata to work percentage)
