Deputy Physician in Hospital Psychiatry Job Description Intervene in the hospitalisation of patients receiving psychiatric care. Conduct consultations and psychiatric care within our multidisciplinary team. Support the head of the hospital department and play a proactive role in the development of the psychiatry service by contributing to projects, our integrated care system aimed at constantly improving care standards and ensuring comprehensive mental health care for our patients. Actively participate in the development of care projects and the continuous improvement of practices within the establishment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement appropriate care plans. Establish and maintain strong professional links with general practitioners, thus fostering transparent collaboration and ensuring attentive patient follow-up. Specific responsibilities in addition to the above points: You provide cover for the post holder according to the service’s needs. You participate in weekend on-call duties: 1 weekend every 6 to 10 weeks (on-site visits telephone availability). You play a leading role in the supervision and training of assistant doctors. Experience in supporting patients in acute psychiatric care would be a valuable asset. Significant experience in an academic setting would also be desirable. You possess strong skills in listening, analysis and decision-making, and are able to manage stressful and complex situations effectively. You are autonomous in your practice while respecting the protocols and values of the establishment.
