Role Overview
As an Asset Lifecycle Management – Concepts & Strategies specialist at Roche Pharma in Basel/Kaiseraugst, you will develop, standardize, and maintain calibration master data within SAP S/4 Hana. Your work ensures high data quality, regulatory compliance, and optimal asset performance across production, research, and infrastructure sites.
Responsibilities
- Act as the key user and primary steward for calibration master data, maintaining and approving asset master records, calibration task lists, and test plans in SAP S/4 Hana.
- Serve as the main point of contact for calibration processes and advise stakeholders in production, research, and infrastructure on best practices for data management.
- Define the technical scope within the calibration domain, identify data sources, assess data quality, and resolve integrity or consistency issues in calibration workflows.
- Document data sources, link information, and perform dedicated quality reporting for the calibration area while maintaining relevant KPIs.
- Analyze data from multiple sources to derive continuous improvement actions that enhance data quality and support global Asset Lifecycle Management initiatives.
- Develop calibration strategies, formalize them, and implement them within the system.
- Challenge the status quo, apply critical thinking, and innovate new approaches to calibration.
Qualifications
- Engineer’s degree in a technical field or equivalent technical training with several years of experience in calibration of process equipment or packaged units, preferably in a GxP‑regulated environment.
- Deep understanding of quality standards, calibration procedures, and regulatory requirements such as GMP guidelines.
- Practical experience capturing and managing asset master data, especially calibration equipment, measurement points, and task lists, preferably in SAP S/4 Hana.
- Experience with modern maintenance methods, such as Total Productive Maintenance, Reliability Centered Maintenance, and Condition Based Maintenance.
- Strong continuous improvement mindset; adept at collecting, maintaining, analyzing data and using it to support calibration decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English; able to communicate timely and effectively with diverse audiences.
- Initiative, willingness to shape processes, and enjoyment of occasional international collaboration.
- Preferred experience with Siemens COMOS.
