AGORA SecureWare is a small, dynamic Swiss software company building smart solutions in the cybersecurity world. What you'll do
As our new Java Developer, you'll jump into projects that matter in the security space. Your days might include architecting backend services, crafting clean REST APIs, playing with cryptographic functions, or finding elegant solutions to complex problems. We move quickly, collaborate openly, and encourage everyone to bring ideas to the table.
Your toolbox (what we hope you bring along)
* Solid Java skills
* Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
* Good understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
* Familiarity with REST API design and implementation
* Interest or experience in cybersecurity and cryptography
* A healthy appreciation for testing, clean code, and maintainability
Nice-to-have superpowers
* Frontend experience: HTML, JavaScript, Angular, or similar
* Linux system administration knowledge
* Curiosity, passion, and a touch of geek enthusiasm
* The desire to grow with a tight-knit team instead of disappearing in a huge corporate maze
Work setup
We're flexible: remote work is absolutely possible.
However, since we sometimes meet on-site for team sessions or project needs, you must be able to live in Switzerland or easily commute when required.
For this reason, we only accept applications from Switzerland, Italy, Germany, and Austria.
