For our growing GMP contract laboratory, we are looking for a dedicated, hands-on microbiology technician for the late shift + weekends (m/f/d, 70-100%) to strengthen our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
* Independent execution of analyses on pharmaceutical samples using all qualified analytical instruments available in the laboratory according to GMP regulations and SOP
* Focus: Microbiological testing of environmental monitoring samples (water, surfaces, air) and non-sterile products
* Late shift: weekdays approximately 2 PM – 11 PM
* Weekend: Saturdays + Sundays according to the shift schedule
* Incoming inspection and recording of sample data and orders
* Independent documentation of work in protocols or worksheets
* Entry of test results into our LIMS system
* Content control (e.g., completeness) of raw data, worksheets, and result entries (Peer Review)
* Maintenance work (e.g., cleaning, re-qualifications) according to the plan (Metrology)
* Proper deactivation and disposal of biological waste
* Participation in GMP-compliant archiving
* Self-study of assigned documents (e.g., SOP revisions)
* Support in process optimizations and the continuous development of the site
Minimum Requirements:
* Laboratory technician with a Swiss federal certificate of proficiency or equivalent professional experience in the analytical field under GMP
* At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in a regulated environment (ISO 17025, GLP, ideally GMP)
* You are a team player, responsible, and reliable
* High resilience and reliability, even under high workload
* Willingness to take over our late shift (weekdays approximately 2 PM to 11 PM)
* Willingness to take over our weekend shift (Saturdays + Sundays according to the shift schedule)
* Good understanding of IT and Office applications, ideally experience with LIMS systems
* Very good German and good English skills
