About The Role
As Proton''s Senior Head of Sales (SMB), you will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy, covering inbound, outbound, and channel sales. This role suits a seasoned sales leader comfortable with a hands on approach, team leadership, and direct involvement in strategic deal making and operational tasks. Your goal will be to drive scalable sales processes, enhance team performance, and accelerate revenue growth and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build and Lead a Sales Team: Establish, grow, and manage SDRs and AEs, coaching them to meet goals and fostering a collaborative culture.
2. Develop Sales Strategy: Design inbound and outbound SMB sales strategies, set objectives, and ensure a smooth sales funnel.
3. Ownership of Sales Operations: Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing, with a focus on top of funnel inflow and conversion rates.
4. Data Driven Decision Making: Track performance metrics, report KPIs, forecast, and optimize processes based on data insights.
5. Cross Functional Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Support, and Product teams to align efforts and refine strategies.
Your Profile
1. Experience and Expertise: 10+ years in B2B sales, with leadership experience in SaaS, especially with SMBs and small deals (5,000 20,000).
2. Hands On Leadership: Willing to participate in calls, guide AEs, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
3. Market and Customer Insight: Deep understanding of target markets and unique sales approaches.
4. Tech Savvy with Sales Tools: Proficient in CRM and reporting tools.
5. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communicator, capable of fostering teamwor
