Senior Datacenter Cloud Network & Security Engineer
The Senior Datacenter Cloud Network & Security Engineer will design, implement, and manage cloud and on‑premises infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Cisco Nexus technologies, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.
In addition, the role collaborates with 1st‑level and 2nd‑level support, requires a detailed understanding of all services in the IT Infrastructure Department, and mandates on‑call service during the year.
Responsibilities
Design and implement Azure cloud solutions.
Ensure security and compliance of cloud and on‑premises infrastructure.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
Automate operations with PowerShell or Python.
Monitor and optimize performance and costs.
Provide 3rd‑level support and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with the Operational team and mentor junior engineers.
Conduct regular infrastructure reviews and audits.
Stay updated with Azure services, Cisco technologies, and best practices.
Manage on‑premises datacenter technologies, including Cisco Nexus networking.
Implement and manage firewalls and application delivery controllers.
Technical Skills
Microsoft Azure technologies
Cloud architecture, network, and security best practices
Strong understanding of security principles
Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform or ARM templates
Automation and scripting skills (PowerShell, Python)
Knowledge of networking, virtualization, and storage
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices
Knowledge of Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls
Experience with Cisco Nexus and datacenter technologies (Cisco ACI)
Experience with application delivery controllers
Professional Requirements
6–8 years of work experience in Cloud, Network, and Security.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent.
Certifications in Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco (CCNP/CCIE).
Project management skills.
Languages
Fluent in English, French, and German is a plus.
Additional languages are welcome.
