This position reports to: R&D Manager Critical Power
Your Role And Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute with your creativity and technical knowledge to the development of new and innovative solutions. You will be responsible for the development of design solutions for new products and for design optimizations in the existing product portfolio. Project and sub-project management of small development projects as well as the coordination of external design work are also part of your area of responsibility.
The working model for the role is: onsite
* Development of innovative design concepts to provide solutions for the tasks addressed to you and collaborate with project and product teams
* Manufacturing-ready design of components in exchange with the relevant departments and proactive implementation of design solutions in cooperation with the product teams
* Project and sub-project management of small development projects
This position reports to the R&D Manager
Qualifications For The Role
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Precision Engineering / Mechatronics / Electrotechnics or a related field.
* You have strong technical knowledge in the design of plastic components as well as stamped/bent parts and ideally already technical knowledge in the field of mechanical and electrical systems of low-voltage products e.g. miniature circuit breakers
* You feel comfortable communicating in German and English (spoken and written) and have strong communication skills.
* You have very good knowledge of the use of CAD software (preferably Solidworks) as well as very good knowledge and application of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project).
* You have a high degree of self-motivation, you are a quick learner and work in a results-oriented manner with a positive attitude
* You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the relevant field
* Experience and application of project management methods
