What you'll be doing here
4. Collaboration in an international, interdisclipinary SNSF founded research project on advanced separation technologies for the valorization of lignocellulosic biomass
5. Practical laboratory work including steam-pretreatment of beech wood, qualitative and quantitative analysis of solubilized molecules in pretreatment liquors, enzymatic hydrolysis, 5-HMF production
6. Dissimination of results at conferences and in peer-reviewed publications
7. Supervision of semester and bachelor thesis

8. MSc in chemical / process engineering or a related disclipine
9. Enthusiasm for green chemistry and climate change mitigation
10. Enjoyment and first experience in chemical laboratory work
11. Flair for technical and mechanical work
12. Quick comprehension; meticulous and reliable way of working
13. Good communication skills; team player
14. Excellent spoken and written English
