Title Assistant Engineer, Installation, EMI, Mobility Rail
Location ST Electronics Hub, SG
Description
Prepare installation cable route drawing for submission and implementation for the following subsystems: Integrated Communications System (COMMS), Integrated Supervisory Control System (ISCS), Facility for Commercial Info-Communication Services (FCIS), Maintenance Management System (MMS), Signaling System (SIG), Platform Screen Doors (PSD), Automated Fair Collection System (AFC).
Carry out installation design and supervision of site installation works to meet authorities & customer’s requirements.
Coordinate with Civil Wide Contractors and System Wide Contractors; supervise a team of installation subcontractor in carrying out cable support system installation, cable laying & testing, equipment installation & termination, progress report and update as-built drawings.
Manage & control of work progress and ensure installation works are completed within schedule, meet budget, meet quality standard and comply with MOM safety regulations.
Daily manpower reporting & attend weekly / bi-weekly progress meetings with LTA; carry out site inspection & handover inspection with client.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Diploma/NITEC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering.
1–5 years’ experience in leading a team of site engineers and subcontractors’ skilled workers in execution of large‑scale electronics, electrical & mechanical installation.
Work experience in large scale projects preferred; willing and able to work at night for brown‑field project.
Installation experience in railway industry preferred.
Use of AutoCAD or BIM advantageous.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; good communicative skills, able to interact with people at all levels and teamwork.
Reporting Relationship
The incumbent reports to Principal Engineer, EMI, Mobility Rail.
Work Location
ST Engineering Electronics Hub (Ang Mo Kio).
