About the Role:
The Process Operations Specialist performs various tasks across all plant equipment, including Injection Molding, Assembly, Extrusion, and Bag Making. Ensure that equipment operation meets plant or department requirements. Identify root causes of problems, make corrections, repair or replace units as necessary. Discuss findings with department personnel, develop solutions to problems, and provide a basis for making corrections. Make recommendations concerning changes to equipment, improvements, or installations based on findings. Collaborate with other process technicians, engineers, and sales teams as needed.

* Produce high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
* Support departments in specifying and integrating electrical/electronic controls during continuous improvement processes, ensuring safe equipment operation without compromising NEC and NEMA codes.
* Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and training for electrical/electronic controls, fostering close working relationships to enhance control troubleshooting techniques and knowledge of electrical control applications.
* Provide expertise on electrical controls to support day-to-day manufacturing operations.
* Perform PLC and HMI programming for all departments.
* Install electrical control devices/components for reliability and continuous improvement projects.
* Develop accurate electrical schematics for all controls projects.
* Guide OEMs regarding electrical control specifications, standardization requirements, HMI formats, data acquisition requirements, and electrical documentation needs.
* Support engineering and maintenance on corrective actions for improvement projects assigned.
* Oversee data acquisition systems used for real-time plant performance tracking on existing and new equipment.
* Ensure food safety compliance.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent is required.
* A minimum 2-year AS technical degree or equivalent is necessary.
* Five to ten years' experience in a manufacturing environment is mandatory.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is desired.
* Experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project Management is preferred.
* Background in training, programming, and experience with Allen Bradley PLC, Siemens PLC, HMI AC/DC, and Servo drive configurations is beneficial.
* Six Sigma and Lean knowledge is also desirable.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
This job requires the ability to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Frequent standing, walking, and sitting are necessary. Frequently use hands to finger, feel, reach, or handle machinery. Bend, stoop, and reach frequently. Visual acuity is required.
