Joining an experienced and international trading systems support team, you will help resolve issues end-to-end, from external venues to consuming systems (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, EBS, Tradeweb, Market Axess, BidFX, CFETs, SIX). You will work collaboratively with the extended Front Office Technology team and IT Department functions to resolve issues end-to-end, from external venues to consuming systems (e.g., treasury systems such as ION/Findur or Front Arena). Additionally, you will document systems and solutions, share knowledge within the team, and support the development of new and existing gateway integrations to enhance resilience and performance. You will possess advanced technical expertise and have experience with message protocols such as FIX, understanding networks and administering different trading venue platforms such as Bloomberg. The perfect candidates have the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.RequirementsMinimum of 3 years of experience as a Trading and Market Venue Engineer in a financial institution, with prior experience supporting trading systems in a changing environmentDemonstrated ability to administer entitlements for trading and market venues.Familiarity with the usage of market and trade data in financial institutions.Hands-on experience with performance monitoring and alerting systems.Strong knowledge of message protocols such as FIX and FPML/XML.Advanced expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems.Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, and Powershell.Experience with integration technologies like Kafka or MessageQ.Proficiency in querying databases using SQL.Fluency in EnglishNice to HaveExperience with integration into major treasury systems, such as Findur/Endur, Aladdin, or Front Arena.Knowledge of network and firewall technologies, including encryption and security protocols.Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.Experience with testing technologies, such as Selenium.Client-facing experience in a technical support role.Knowledge of financial messaging standards like SWIFTCompensation & BenefitsPlease note interviews would be conducted via video call, however the role is based 100% in Switzerland.
