Responsibilities
* Work within local accounts to provide excellent service by selling specific products and services requiring technical or scientific expertise
* Leverage in-depth knowledge of IQVIA services to develop new business for the local consulting business by identifying and qualifying revenue opportunities and providing solution expertise
* Proactively support proposal creation, manage the selling process, and finalize contracts in collaboration with local Key Account Managers and with guidance from local Consulting and local Sales Leadership
* Build long-term relationships with clients through professional, consultative, and proactive sales activities to become a well-rounded advisor on topics such as marketing, market research, sales management, industry trends, and IQVIA products and consulting capabilities
* Collaborate with IQVIA marketing, consulting, and client services to develop and present proposed solutions to clients’ complex business issues
* Represent IQVIA to the client (and the client to IQVIA) in all sales-related activities
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with minimum 1-3 years of relevant sales or account management experience
* Revenue-driven with drive and determination to exceed goals
* Independent, customer-focused, consultative, problem solver, creative, resourceful, organized, and an effective negotiator
* Excellent presentation and writing skills; able to work independently and in a team
* Strategic business awareness and strong analytical skills
* Ideally solid understanding of the Pharma Industry and its trends
* Fluent in English and German
