Your Role
We are looking for a
motivated Application Engineer (Biotechnology)
to join our growing team in Switzerland,
part-time 60-80%
.
In this role, you will act as the
bridge between science and technology
, supporting our clients in translating their laboratory workflows into our digital platform.
You will work closely with Swiss and international laboratories and biobanks, ensuring our solutions are adapted, implemented, and adopted successfully.
This position involves
regular travel
within Switzerland and occasionally abroad for
client meetings, training sessions, and scientific events
. The
schedule can vary
based on project needs and event calendars.
Your Main Responsibilities
* Analyze
laboratory workflows and translate them into system configurations
* Manage projects
: from requirements collection to delivery and user training
* Prepare and conduct demonstrations
for prospective clients, contributing to B2B sales discussions
* Configure and customize
DiData modules and workflows to match real-life processes
* Provide
training and user support
, both remotely and on-site
* Test new features
and ensure system quality in production environments
* Communicate
user feedback
and improvement suggestions to the product team
* Contribute to
project documentation
and validation activities
* Participate in
client visits
,
project workshops
, and
industry events
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys

Your Profile
* Degree in
Biology
,
Biomedical Engineering
,
Bioinformatics
, or related Life Science field
* Experience in a laboratory
(academic, clinical, or biobank) is a strong asset
* Experience in Clinical data management
* Strong
analytical and organizational skills
, with attention to detail
* Proven
organizational and project coordination
skills
* Excellent
communication
and
presentation
abilities
* Ability to
translate laboratory workflows
into digital processes
* Fluent in English
(spoken and written) and good knowledge of
French, German
and / or
Italian
is a plus
* Interest or experience in
software configuration
or
IT tools
* Bonus: basic skills in
PHP
,
JavaScript
, or
scripting languages
* Flexibility and willingness to travel
for on-site client meetings and events
* Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
