Responsibilities
Execute assigned product development tasks and design optimizations for the existing product portfolio, applying strong technical knowledge.
Identify technical problems and contribute effective solutions.
Develop innovative design concepts to address assigned tasks and ensure manufacturing‑ready design of components (plastic, stamped, and bended parts).
Identify, propose, and implement innovative technology developments and solutions to advance low‑voltage products and systems.
Collaborate with cross‑functional project and product teams to integrate and implement design solutions smoothly.
Meticulously document engineering work steps and participate in creating technical written reports for the department.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3 years proven professional experience in a relevant engineering field.
Strong technical knowledge in the design of plastic components and stamped/bended parts. Foundational knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in low‑voltage products is also desired.
Proficient in CAD software (preferably SolidWorks) and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project).
High degree of self‑motivation, quick learning, results‑oriented approach, and positive, proactive attitude.
Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and German. Excellent English‑only speakers with the right technical background will also be considered.
