To strengthen our operational execution and coordination across interfaces at our Dietikon site, we are looking for a Commercial Project Manager – Order Handling What you can expect: Your focus is on orchestrating the order handling process with customers and internally to ensure on-time delivery, utilization of resources and low working capital. As a hands-on person in a small company, you execute those tasks yourself that you can’t delegate. These tasks stretch from SAP master data management, planning and scheduling to supplier portfolio and pricing optimization and import/export handling. It requires a person capable to organize oneself and others, with quick comprehension and willingness to learn and grow. You are keen to deliver results in a low-volume, high-complexity and project-driven operations environment, able to efficiently and effectively shape processes according to customer and business needs and collaborate directly with your colleagues. Your Responsibilities: Contribute to a competitive and robust supply chain by maintaining the supplier portfolio and supporting price and commercial negotiation. Create and maintain high‑quality SAP master data for materials, purchasing and production in close collaboration with R&D and Manufacturing Engineering. Ensure dependable and predictable order handling and delivery by creating and maintaining sales orders, coordinating delivery dates, and acting as the interface between Customer, Production, Engineering and Procurement. Plan and schedule delivery, material and production demands optimally using our SAP MRP functionality and balancing supply availability and utilization with low inventory. Guarantee purchasing execution and transparency by supervising stock order, project and indirect material procurement ensuring on-time delivery of input material and following up with suppliers, if necessary. Organize product, prototype, spares and component shipment including import/export and customs handling in close collaboration with R&D and Logistics. Your Background: Technical or commercial educational background preferred (e.g. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field). Candidates with a technical or commercial apprenticeship combined with advanced professional training (HF or equivalent) are also highly welcome.
