CSL invites applicants for the Senior Product Manager, Iron & Nephrology role.
Overview
The Senior Product Manager is responsible for creating and implementing international region programs and activities for the assigned portfolio, with indirect responsibility for regional sales/market share performance.
They also develop and deploy a customer engagement plan and content to deliver outstanding customer experience and collaborate with the International Brand Team and Therapy Area Team to achieve strong, consistent results.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Leadership: contribute to the development of International Brand Strategic plans, including setting sales and market share objectives.
* Provide guidance for pre‑launch preparations and launch excellence.
* Enhance and support marketing capabilities across the Affiliate network through the IBT structure.
* Collaborate effectively with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and other key functions.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to become the contact and reference point for product‑related topics.
* Ensure defined strategies are applied regionally.
* Operate responsibly, observing the company’s values and compliance requirements.
* Strategic thinking: define and implement marketing strategies and tactical plans for existing and new products within the assigned therapeutic area.
* Identify and evaluate new business opportunities with local colleagues and other functions.
* Engage with KOLs/HCPs to generate customer, patient, and competitor insights.
* Execution: identify and implement marketing strategies and programmes with colleagues in the International Region.
* Disseminate product experience and strategy in the International Region.
* Ensure activities are deployed efficiently and provide sustainable results.
* Manage A&P budgets, ensuring accurate phasing and strong ROI for marketing programmes.
* Evaluate activity efficiency and continuously improve processes.
* Develop robust commercial analysis and reporting to generate performance insights for strategic priority brands.
* Prepare, design, and conduct region‑led events in partnership with Medical Affairs.
* Build knowledge of competitive situation and train colleagues on competitive intelligence matters.
Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements
* Graduate degree or equivalent; postgraduate qualification preferred.
* 7+ years’ healthcare experience with 5+ years’ brand sales and marketing experience in pharmaceuticals or biotech.
* Broad international pharmaceutical marketing experience, with a track record of commercialising and launching high‑value medicines in rare diseases.
* Pharmaceutical sales experience in secondary or tertiary care.
* Experience leading strategic processes for portfolio and brand development.
* Experience leading global marketing initiatives and managing diverse, multicultural matrix teams.
* Demonstrated ability to influence and inspire cross‑functional matrix teams, driving collaboration, innovation and results at a market and above market level.
* Proficiency in CRM systems and tools, with a focus on leveraging data‑driven insights to drive customer engagement and retention.
* Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable marketing tactics.
* Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex, multi‑stakeholder projects from inception to implementation.
* Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written) is required.
