Retail Sales Development Executive

Job Overview

This is a high-impact sales role that requires driving significant new business across the DACH region for our organization. As a Retail Sales Development Executive, you will be responsible for achieving quarterly sales targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

1. Strategic Business Development: Develop a deep understanding of the retail industry and identify opportunities to expand our client base among key retailers in the DACH region.
2. Client Growth: Drive growth through expanding our client base among the retail industry and establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
3. Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue new revenue streams by introducing our services and benefits to key retailers.
4. Key Account Management: Manage larger RFPs from need assessment to pitch presentations and closing larger deals in collaboration with Key Account Managers and our brands and solutions.
5. Stakeholder Mapping: Identify new key stakeholders across buying centers of existing retail partners and key prospects and introduce our services and benefits applying winning strategic selling techniques.
6. Partnerships and Collaborations: Seek strategic alliances leveraging partnerships with third parties to create strong dependency of retailers on our capabilities and information.
7. Champion of Key Assets: Champion our key assets and provide integrated solutions for one of the most relevant business questions (Retail Media, Category Management, Price Management) as the first point of contact within Retail DACH and No. 1 sparring partner for our product teams.
8. Networking and Relationships: Build a network of effective and meaningful relationships at all levels, both internally and externally, to maximize business opportunities.
9. Forecasting Revenue: Accurately forecast revenue to your line manager and assure pipeline accuracy.

Requirements

* Language Proficiency: Fluency in German and English.
* Sales Experience: Proven track record of managing revenue targets, with a strong desire to consistently overachieve against both personal targets and objectives.
* Retail Expertise: Strong knowledge of the retail industry and its challenges.
* Communication and Time Management Skills: Excellent communication and time management skills.
