🔧 The Opportunity
We’re looking for a self-sufficient, proactive Process Validation Engineer to join a high-performing team in Zurich on an initial 6-month contract.
You’ll play a central role in setting up, validating, and continuously improving processes, with a strong focus on filter validation and lifecycle management. You’ll be hands-on, owning validation activities end-to-end, collaborating cross-functionally, and making a tangible impact from day one.
🔍 What You’ll Be Doing
* Setting up recipes and engineering batches to support process validation activities
* Establishing robust validation strategies, methods, and protocols
* Leading filter validation activities, including periodic revalidations (occur every 3 years)
* Executing hands-on testing and protocol-driven validation work
* Driving process improvements where gaps or inefficiencies are identified
* Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and compliance
* Experience designing/setting up recipes and engineering batches
* Proven track record in Process Validation within biotech/pharma manufacturing
* Strong experience in filter validation and validation lifecycle management
* Comfortable being hands-on - executing as well as designing validation work
* A self-starter mentality with strong collaboration skills and understanding of what’s critical in validation environments
* Willingness to learn German (if not already proficient)
