Application Specialist (m/f/d)
Work location
Field service for Switzerland – depending on the assigned region
Job Objective
Seamless integration of Diasorin systems into the routine operations of the client laboratory
Main Responsibilities
Preparing and conducting training sessions for customers on Diasorin systems
Implementation of new testing procedures for existing customers
Providing technical guidance and support to the sales team regarding the processing of Diasorin and third-party assays on Diasorin device platforms
Integration of Diasorin systems into the laboratory workflow
Responsibility for ensuring the smooth workflow of the systems
Routine customer visits, customer analysis, creation of workflows, and presentations to customers
Conducting customer training sessions
Supporting Customer Service and customers with application-related issues on-site, via remote maintenance, and over the phone
Monitoring the competition and documenting competitive activities
Evaluating customer requirements, e.g., optimizing workflows, establishing tracking systems
Conducting validations and comparative measurements in-house and in the customer’s laboratory
Collaborating on the application of applicable legal and corporate guidelines of the quality management system as well as guidelines for sustainable business practices within the area of responsibility
Active communication with Sales, Engineering, and Customer Service
Additional/other tasks that are reasonable within the scope of the position
Education
Completed training in the medical-technical field (BMA) or comparable vocational training
Work Experience
Depending on training, at least 2 years of professional experience, including relevant experience with corresponding devices/automated systems for medical laboratory diagnostics, ideally Diasorin systems, and experience in the field of immunology (ELISA, molecular, CLIA technology)
Additional knowledge and skills
Strong interpersonal skills (written and verbal communication skills in internal and external interactions, active listening, openness, a cooperative work style, ability to work in a team, and ability to accept criticism)
Confident and persuasive demeanor
Ability to think and act independently
Successful project and quality management experience
Strong technical understanding
Strong ability to self-organize, prioritize, and structure tasks and topics, along with a high degree of diligence and reliability
High sense of responsibility
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), and in-depth knowledge of Salesforce
Business-level proficiency in spoken and written French and English
Good German skills are a plus
Willingness to travel extensively, including regular overnight stays outside the assigned service area, and a valid Class B driver’s license
