Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for developing the Energy market by executing sales strategies aiming to meet sales targets and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. You will create and complete winning bids, estimations, or quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budgets to meet market competitiveness and maintain high margins aligned with the Energy Industries’ sales strategy, achieving both qualitative and quantitative targets profitably.
The work model for this role is: #LI-Hybrid
This role contributes to the Energy Industries division in Switzerland.
Main responsibilities include: Customer Engagement: Build and maintain solid customer relationships, ensuring a positive experience and providing technical support during sales interactions.
Sales Execution: Enhance sales through strategic initiatives, value-based selling, target setting, and active participation in contract negotiations.
Bid Management: Manage the preparation of competitive bids and proposals, addressing technical, financial, and project aspects while identifying risks and ensuring accurate documentation.
Process & Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, efficient use of tools, accurate forecasting, and support for administrative and reporting processes.
Qualifications for the role Bachelor/master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
More than 8 years of experience in related fields such as Bids & Proposals, Engineering in power generation, industry projects, or service
Previous experience in excitation, power electronics systems, protection, or synchronous generators is beneficial
Experience in system modeling or simulation is an advantage
Experience in developing strong customer and internal relationships locally and globally, with enjoyment working across cultures and sectors
Fluent in English; German or French language skills are beneficial
Willingness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide—up to 15% travel
