In this versatile role, you will combine day-to-day accounting tasks with exciting projects and gradually take on more responsibility as you work toward becoming the Deputy Team Manager of Accounting.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Processing of incoming invoices
Execution of weekly payment runs
Reconciliation and posting of bank accounts
Review and posting of expense and travel reports
Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
Preparation of VAT returns in collaboration with external partners
Managing and participating in ERP projects to analyze, review, and improve existing processes
Supporting and acting on behalf of the Team Manager Accounting for monthly and annual financial statements and defined reporting and accounting activities
YOUR PROFIL
Successfully completed business apprenticeship with further training as a Finance and Accounting Clerk (f/m/d) or comparable qualification
Ideally 3–5 years of professional experience in finance and accounting
Experience with ERP systems; experience with ABACUS is a plus, or a willingness to learn the system in depth
Interest in project work and process optimization
Structured, independent, and precise work style
Team spirit and flexibility—especially during closing phases
Very good German and good English skills (min. B2–C1)
