Optical Design Engineer Physical Optics
We are looking for an experienced optical engineer that contributes to our activity in physical optics. As a subject matter expert in the corporate R&D team, you will work for the diffractive optics product range at Focuslight. This includes diffractive optical elements (DOEs), Metaoptics and all products where physical optics plays a major role in realizing a certain optical function. Your main task will be the optical design, tolerance analysis and product implementation of diffractive optical elements for industrial use. A solid background in electromagnetic simulation is required to use and further develop simulation tools for this purpose. To be successful, you need to gain a complete understanding of the laws involved in manufacturing miniaturized structures for optical use.
Job Responsibility
