You will build and apply your expertise to provide strong scientific and technical guidance, enabling the delivery of innovative and competitive products that address business and consumer needs. You will ensure that all financials and project timelines are accurately maintained to support effective risk assessment and decision‑making. /p h3A Day in the Life of an RD Senior Specialist - System Development /h3 ul liApply SHE rules and drive continuous improvement on Safety, Health, and Environment /li liDeliver innovative systems within defined quality, time, and cost constraints /li liProvide technical guidance as subject matter experts /li liManage project resources, competence levels, and allocated budgets effectively /li liCollaborate with partners to manage roadmaps and support competitive pipeline of features /li liOwn modular technology building blocks, secured, scalable, and reusable across platforms /li liDefine, plan, and supervise technical trials and validation tests with Project Managers /li liConsolidate, analyse, and verify trial data and deliver complete documentation /li liLead laboratory trials and ensure communication between Project Managers and technical community /li liLead test coordination, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions with third parties. /li liFacilitate collaboration across project teams and RD Units to enhance interaction and knowledge sharing /li /ul h3What will make you successful /h3 ul liBSc in Engineering minimum; MSc preferred in mechanical, micro‑technical, or related fields, with strong fluidic mechanics and thermodynamics skills /li liSolid RD experience in product development and industrialization, ideally in mass‑produced engineering fields related to thermodynamics, fluidic mechanics, or optics /li liExperience in consumer goods or household appliances is a plus /li liExperience in competitive and complex environments similar to system development preferred /li liProven communication skills with the ability to present confidently to engineering experts /li liSelf‑motivated, interactive, curious, and entrepreneurial in mindset /li liFluency in English; good level of French and/or German is a plus /li /ul pNestlé is committed to the accessibility of its recruitment process.
