Audit Operations

The Audit Operations team sits at the heart of the internal audit function. We support the global audit community by continuously improving how Group Audit works, how we use data, and how we enable insight at scale.

What You Will Do

• As Digitalization & Strategic Initiatives Manager, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering Group Audit’s digital, data and AI transformation. You will translate strategy into execution by designing, coordinating and embedding change initiatives that deliver tangible and sustainable outcomes across the function.
• You operate at the intersection of audit methodology, technology and change. You will partner closely with initiative leads, audit leaders and our stakeholders to drive delivery at pace while ensuring solutions are fit for purpose, well governed and adopted by the audit community.

Support delivery of our exciting transformation journey

Contribute to the design, delivery and embedding of Group Audit’s change program. From problem framing and design through to implementation, training and support embedding the changes.

Support audit tooling and product development

Contribute to the evolution of our audit platform by helping ensure our tools support the end‑to‑end audit lifecycle and user needs. Partner with stakeholders from across Group Audit to capture business and audit methodology requirements and user feedback to translate into tool design.

Support roll‑out of our AI strategy and framework

Help establish and run how we bring agents in Group Audit to life: shaping the intake of use cases, coordinating feasibility assessments (including data, governance and risk considerations), and supporting the outputs as the framework is embedded.

Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders

This includes leaders, the GA community and our external stakeholders. You will gather inputs, feedback and build consensus on key change decisions. Partner with initiative leads to scope changes, shape design decisions and drive delivery at pace.

What You Bring

We’re looking for an experienced audit or risk professional with the following skills and experience:

Strategic focus

• You have experience of working on change initiatives, can see the big picture and are able to prioritize initiative activities that deliver the greatest strategic impact.
• Stakeholder engagement experience: You have collaborated with a range of stakeholders to build trust and gather inputs to help shape transformation activities and to engage and motivate others to deliver.
• Storytelling and communication expertise: You have experience of building strong slide narratives and delivering compelling training and briefings to a range of stakeholder groups.

Outcome focused

• You focus on delivering the right outcomes for the function, using feedback, data and judgment to shape solutions that are practical, adopted and aligned to Group Audit’s priorities.
• Hands‑on experience of using GenAI tools in a work context, such as MS Copilot.

Proactive delivery

• You take ownership for delivery activities, can manage competing priorities effectively, anticipate issues and drive progress with speed and quality in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Internal audit experience is preferred, otherwise experience in risk or compliance will also be considered.
