Summary
We are the first Hyatt Regency & Hyatt Place of Switzerland in the CIRCLE at Zurich Airport. The hotels have together 555 rooms and suites and the Circle Convention Center is directly connected to the Hyatt Regency. It includes over 2800 square feet of flexible meeting and event space and can welcome up to 1500 guests.
As IT / AV Coordinator you will be supporting the Hotels and Convention Center with the following:
1. Assist guests with connecting their devices to our guest wifi network
2. Assist Convention Center guests and team members solving challenges with AV & other equipment, in coordination with respective third party service providers
3. Assist the Shared Services Centre with changes in infrastructure and software updates
4. Escalate tickets outside of SLA to Shared Services Centre, Hyatt Service Desk in Chicago and/or third party service providers
5. Ensure all working environments are kept safe and tidy. Including maintenance and serviceability of all equipment use
6. Create dedicated networks for groups and events
7. Ensure the hotels IT environment is compliant with Hyatt Standards
8. Conduct regular testing and provide feedback to management.
We are looking for a new colleague with the following experience:
9. Have knowledge of network / wifi configurations of both Windows and Mac computers
10. Knowledge of AV setups and motivation to grow skills further in that area
11. Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Teams and Windows clients
12. Hospitality and / or AV background
13. Preferable have knowledge on hotel applications (Opera PMS, Shiji Infrasys POS, Saflok, Credit card terminals, PBX)
14. Self-starter who is able to work independently
15. Fluent in English and preferable German
