Institut auf dem Rosenberg, the world’s leading boarding school, is seeking a highly organised and creative Administrative Assistant – Communication & Social Media to support whole‑school communication and administrative operations.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for creating engaging content for the school’s social media channels and newsletters, while providing administrative support across the school. You will work closely with academic, boarding, and administrative teams to create and share content that communicates the unique spirit, values, and excellence of Institut auf dem Rosenberg to a global audience.


Responsibilities

* Create, edit, and manage content for the school’s social media channels and newsletters
* Support communication around school events, including workshops, conferences, and parent‑teacher meetings
* Liaise with faculty and staff to gather and structure information for internal and external communications
* Respond to enquiries from students, parents, and staff in a professional and timely manner
* Support admissions‑related communication and administrative tasks
* Maintain accurate records, databases, and documentation
* Coordinate with administrative colleagues to ensure clear communication and efficient workflows
* Perform general administrative and office coordination tasks


Requirements – ideal candidates will have

* Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Media, Education, Administration, or a related field
* Proven expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Pro (required)
* Experience in administration, communications, or social media content creation (education setting preferred)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Excellent written English and strong attention to detail
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite, and confidence in learning new digital tools
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse international environment
* Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
* Experience in international education is an asset
* A proactive, collaborative mindset and alignment with the values and ethos of Institut auf dem Rosenberg
