Network Engineer

About the role
As a Network Engineer, you will make an impact by managing and troubleshooting enterprise network environments, ensuring robust, secure, and high-performing infrastructure across Cisco LAN, Meraki WLAN, WAN (Cisco Viptela SD-WAN), and Citrix load balancers. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver operational excellence and continual improvement.
In this role, you will:
* Manage and troubleshoot Cisco LAN and Meraki WLAN environments.
* Manage and troubleshoot Citrix load balancers and WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela SD-WAN).
* Provide technical expertise on Cisco routing and switching concepts.
* Work with Zenoss and Solarwinds (NCM, NPA, NTA, IPAM modules).
* Interact and coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
* Perform capacity planning and reporting.
* Represent the Network team in internal meetings.
* Prepare and maintain documentation of network configurations, rack layouts, topologies, processes, and procedures.
* Design, deploy, configure, and administer LAN/WAN/WLAN infrastructure and supporting systems.
* Recommend upgrades, patches, and equipment to address security vulnerabilities.
* Proactively monitor network devices and links to ensure high availability and SLA compliance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.
* Analyze current network structure and propose efficiency improvements.
* Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
* Research and recommend technologies to support business requirements.
* Provide on-call and weekend support when necessary.
