IT Procurement Manager
Are you an experienced Procurement Manager looking for a new role in Zurich? In this IT Procurement Manager job, you will initially be taking care of maternity cover for the existing IT Sourcing Manager, who is predominantly responsible for leading IT Professional Services procurement. The role is hands on in the sense that you will be actively leading end to end sourcing initiatives for IT Services (RFI/RFP/RFQ, contract negotiation and supplier selection) as well as getting your hands dirty with analysing and driving spend and contracts. As aforementioned, whilst the focus is on professional services, you will be jumping into IT software and IT hardware procurement tasks as well.
You are expected to have worked in a similar role within an international environment, in terms of having performed real IT Professional Services procurement and alongside this have a good grasp of IT.
The team are international and as such the business language is English, any additional German skills are a nice to have but not essential. The team also operate a 3 days in the office and 2 days from home policy - so it is important you are comfortable with this set up.
Although an initial 10 month contract, there is a high probability of extension depending on your performance.
