This Director, Marketing Campaigns for Digital Solutions & Services will drive the centralized coordination, development, execution and measurement of marketing campaigns for the Johnson Controls Digital Solutions & Digital Services offerings globally, leveraging the Johnson Controls closed loop marketing program, focusing on:
Digital Solutions and Digital Services marketing strategies and execution
Drive awareness and generate marketing qualified leads for Johnson Controls’ OpenBlue suite of digital solutions and services, developing, executing and refining marketing strategies for all GTM channels
Thought Leadership activation for digital solutions and services at key industry and media events
Drive positioning for Digital Solutions suite, connecting solutions capability to customer outcomes of smart, healthy, and sustainable buildings.
Develop and Execute Partner Marketing Strategies
Develop go-to-market strategies for both ecosystem and channel partners to accelerate co-sell opportunities, developing strategic marketing plans with partners and implementing engagement strategic campaigns to fill the funnel and drive lead generation.
How will you do it
Develop customer segmentation alignment and profiling with Digital Solutions product management and GTM teams
Develop, test, and execute world-class tiering strategies, tailoring offers for defined target audiences.
Collaborate on global value proposition messages, campaign messages and brand templates in alignment with global brand strategy, ensuring campaign performance insights are translated back into messages, providing a testing ground for next gen message strategies
Develop demand generation plan, aligned with global revenue targets, using Johnson Controls’ closed loop process – working across regions, partners and product management plans
Champion best practices for driving the sales funnel, lead nurturing, lead handover processes, lead conversion, and customer retention
Partner with internal agencies and stakeholders for promotional strategies, cost, and lead generation tactics
Build marketing automation functional competency and manage the marketing automation tools to mature its use as a campaign and marketing lead engine, leveraging best practice
Includes global nurture campaigns with targeted landing pages, build out of target lists, email calendar, strategic performance reporting, compliance with GDPR, etc.
Develop and implement inbound marketing, demand generation, lead management and automated online marketing programs to drive lead conversion and ultimately new business acquisition
Establish and track measurable response rates, conversion rates, pipeline, and ROI for all programs.
Work closely with sales and marketing leaders to monitor all projects fuelling demand gen, funnel performance, identify performance gaps and/or opportunities, and allocates programs funds to maximize ROI
Collaborate with website, social channel and PR teams and other key partners to use the website, social and PR as a strategic campaign tool, driving conversion from visitors to leads. Prioritize the top campaigns to drive lead flow requirements, design, execute and measure demand generation programs including website, content marketing, online marketing, nurture, social media, blogs, syndication, and events. Perform budget management tasks and reporting
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
8 years proven experience leading global marketing program (industrial or services experience preferred).
At least four (4) years in managing or directing a Marketing team of at least 2 people
4+ years of campaign response analysis
Strong analytical skills and metrics driven with experience in developing marketing operations metrics and dashboards
Proven track record of developing marketing strategy, managing systems and processes, and leading all aspects of media budgets
Advanced knowledge of standard processes in B2B marketing automation, demand generation, and rules based nurturing
Intuitive, intelligent, and high-energy, and have an open communication style with a strong teamwork orientation and ability to foster energy and enthusiasm at every level
