Mechanical Quality Engineer (all genders) What you will move in this role:
Collaborate with the design team to ensure mechanical components meet quality and reliability standards
Review technical drawings, models and specifications to verify compliance with engineering and quality requirements
Conduct design failure mode and effect analysis (DMFEA) and risk assessments
Develop test plans for validating mechanical designs and ensuring functionality under various conditions
Supervise physical and simulation-based testing
Develop quality metrics and dashboards to monitor performance
What skills and experience you should bring:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required; a Master's degree in Quality Management is an advantage
3-5 years of experience in mechanical design or quality engineering roles
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes
Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001, ASME Y14.5 or APQP
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills
Fluent in English, knowledge of German is an advantage
