Responsibilities Leading and executing safety activities throughout the software lifecycle (analysis, design, validation, deployment)
Performing and maintaining safety analyses: FHA, FMEA, FTA, Hazard Analysis, etc.
Ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations (including EASA frameworks and ATM standards)
Integrating safety requirements into specifications, architectures, operational modes, and user interfaces
Defining and allocating Software Assurance Levels (SWAL) in line with system requirements
Producing and maintaining key documentation: Safety Plans, Hazard Logs, compliance matrices, safety cases
Ensuring traceability of safety requirements across the entire lifecycle
Analyzing incidents, anomalies, and deviations, and conducting root cause analysis
Preparing certification documentation and interacting with regulatory authorities
Participating in internal and external safety audits
Defining and improving internal safety processes and monitoring related KPIs
Contributing to training and awareness of teams on safety topics
Required Skills Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations (such as ED153, ED109A, ARP4761, DO178C, DO278A, etc.)
Good understanding of software development processes
Experience in a regulated environment
Ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously with strong organization and rigor
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong analytical and synthesis skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and strong negotiation skills
Your Profile Proven experience in Safety Engineering within software development
Experience in complex and highly regulated environments
Good knowledge of certification frameworks and safety requirements
Structured, autonomous, and quality-oriented mindset
Languages Fluent English (written and spoken), French is a plus.
