For our Contract Logistics division, we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (m/f/d) who is passionate about driving new business opportunities, securing sustainable growth, and actively developing our market position in Switzerland. Your workplace is flexible – in addition to our office in Pfungen, you can also be based in the Basel or Schaffhausen region.
Your Responsibilities
1. Drive business development activities in Contract Logistics with a strong focus on active market development and sales lead generation
2. Identify, approach, and acquire new customers within Switzerland, ensuring sustainable growth for Contract Logistics
3. Build and maintain a strong network with decision-makers, suppliers, and transport partners
4. Closely collaborate with the global DSV Sales Community to leverage synergies and best practices
5. Work hand-in-hand with the Contract Logistics Team in Switzerland and internal stakeholders from other DSV divisions
6. Support tender processes and coordinate smooth customer onboarding in cooperation with implementation teams
7. Demonstrate a strong sales attitude and passion, combined with a well-developed business acumen
Your Profile
8. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in sales/business development within Contract Logistics in Switzerland
9. Proven track record in driving new business opportunities and customer acquisition
10. Strong knowledge of the Swiss logistics market and local customer landscape
11. Excellent networking, communication, and negotiation skills
12. Fluent in German and English (French or Italian is an advantage)
13. Dynamic, proactive, and results-oriented personality with an entrepreneurial mindset
