(Senior) Cloud Security Engineer (80-100%) - 1476
Overview
We are seeking a proactive professional to contribute to a modern and highly available IT environment at Swissgrid. Your role will support the secure use and continuous development of our Azure cloud platform.
Responsibilities
* Engineer and implement security requirements in our cloud environment, following best practices.
* Identify and assess cyber‑security risks for our cloud platform.
* Define and implement preventive measures to mitigate cyber‑security risks.
* Support cloud projects and operational initiatives by determining protection requirements and designing security solutions.
* Create and continuously maintain cloud security concepts and standards.
* Document solutions and transfer knowledge.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Cyber Security or Computer Science, with further training and/or certifications in Cyber Security and Microsoft Azure Platform technologies.
* Several years of experience in cyber security roles with a focus on cloud security.
* Experience in offensive security (security auditing, penetration testing, CTFs, etc.).
* Knowledge of hyperscaler technologies, particularly Azure, and related SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and security services.
* Experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Git, Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitHub Actions).
* Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and/or Identity and Access Management (IAM) is a definite plus.
* Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 270xx, NIST).
* Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
