What it's about
In the role of an HR Generalist based in Switzerland you are part of our international HR team. You will be the first point of contact for employees in your assigned business departments.
Your main responsibilities include:
Responsible for employee life cycle processes with a focus on employee entries, changes, leaves, transfers and exits
Manage employee relation cases (e.g. performance, grievance and disciplinary issues, terminations, etc.)
Ensure compliance with and stay abreast of all labor laws and regulations
Responsible for HR related documentation such as contracts of employment, alterations, work permit applications as well as reference letters for employees in Switzerland
Perform accidents, sickness and child allowances registrations as well as reports and other administrative tasks and reports
Conduct HR Introduction Day presentations and new hire / leaver orientation with employees
Proactively optimize tasks, processes, policies and procedures
Work closely together with all other areas of HR (Global People Partners, Recruiters, Payroll and Centers of Expertise)
Participate in European and global projects to further develop the HR function
What we expect
For this challenging position, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on professional with the following profile:
Commercial apprenticeship or bachelor’s degree with further Education in Human Resources (i.e. Personalfachfrau/mann) or equivalent essential
5+ years' work experience as an HR Generalist (including case management for employee relation cases) ideally in international and complex organizations
Solid knowledge of HR operations and labor law, immigration, and regulations for Switzerland
Good communication skills in German and English are a must
strong desire to learn and high attention to detail
Enjoys a fast paced, results-oriented environment, ability to prioritize and work independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and HR systems, ideally SuccessFactor
