Responsibilities
* For the development and delivery of AI models and AI / Gen AI solutions in the areas of “Contact Centre”, “Claims Management”, “Underwriting”, and “Distribution”: abstracting local solutions to make them available in other AXA markets; contributing measurable value to profitability, efficiency, and growth of entities; and responding to requirements and needs of local AXA entities.
* For the strategic scaling of locally developed solutions and life cycle management of the solution hub across the entire group with the goal of driving innovations, unlocking new potentials, and accelerating AI adoption: strategic alignment with AXA group strategy, local needs of the countries, and AI technology trends; transfer and delivery of AI / GenAI solutions to entities of AXA group (e.g. based on an inner sourcing approach); promotion of innovations to optimize the value chain (including continuous exploration) with the aim of unlocking new AI potentials and sustainably generating additional “underlying earnings”; life cycle management of scaled AI / GenAI solutions and the solution ecosystem to accelerate adoption of latest technology across the Group; close collaboration with our AI and technology research scientists, and AXA academic and technology strategic partners.
* For team leadership: Disciplinary leadership of a team of 4 members, development of employees and promotion of the building and expansion of individual professional and personal competencies.
* For stakeholder management: work with functions and areas essential for achieving the goal of “value from data” at both global and local levels with the local units of the AXA group, and with areas from business functions, IT, data science, risk, and compliance.
Qualifications
* PhD or Master’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
* Several years of professional experience in the field of data science, ideally in the application of AI in claims management.
* Excellent communication skills in English.
* Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Ideally, experience in personnel management or project leadership, preferably in an agile environment.
