Your project
As part of our growth, we are looking for a HSE Biosafety Specialist to join a major project with one of our clients in the Chemical Sector.
Your main responsibilities
* Develop and maintain biosafety system (ESV, SAMV, GTG compliance)
* Perform biological and GMO risk assessments
* Ensure BSL 1–4 compliance across sites
* Liaise with FOEN and cantonal authorities, manage permits
* Deliver biosafety training to staff
* Conduct audits, inspections, and follow-up actions
Your profile
* MSc/PhD in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology or related field
* Experience in regulated biosafety or similar environment
* Strong knowledge of Swiss biosafety regulations and risk assessment
* Fluency in German and English
Only candidates of Swiss or EU/EFTA nationality, or those holding a valid Swiss residence and work permit, will be considered.
