Womenswear Department Manager – Zurich

As a key member of the women's wear team in Zurich, the Department Manager supports business operations, guides the team, and serves as the primary point of contact for customers.
Role Responsibilities
* Cultivate relationships with customers through active presence on the shop floor and provide a unique service and shopping experience in line with the brand philosophy, corporate image, and CRM guidelines.
* Communicate clearly, correctly, and courteously in the mother tongue and other foreign languages with both clients and colleagues, actively listening to establish mutual trust.
* Promote the achievement of assigned targets, guide sales operations, and ensure customer service and the selling ceremony comply with company guidelines.
* Support Store Management and HQ by organizing events and trunk shows to introduce new customers to the Brunello Cucinelli world, increase loyalty, and provide ideas for CRM actions.
* Maintain high standards through correct implementation of Visual Guidelines.
* Enhance the concession’s presence through careful interpretation of Brunello Cucinelli style and continuous updates on products and new collections.
* Guide the team in maximizing sales and performance, reporting missed opportunities to management for corrective action.
* Motivate the sales team in daily activities, ensuring continuous improvement and regular feedback.
* Safeguard respect and collaboration among colleagues through coaching and group or one‑to‑one meetings.
* Support the stock team, especially during inventories.
* Ensure retail operations procedures and HQ guidelines are respected.
* Cultivate direct contact with Headquarters.
* Use main IT applications and systems, continually updating new tools, including the Xstore management system and Salesforce CRM.
Qualifications
• Minimum 6 years of experience in luxury retail and proven management experience.
• Strong business acumen and deep understanding of market and customers.
• Demonstrated people‑management and development skills.
• Fluent in German and English; a third language is a plus.
