We are looking for a
Senior IT Business Analyst – Finance & Risk (CTRM Implementation)
to join our client's team (Global commodity trading industry). This is a permanent role.
Your Responsabilities
The role involves acting as the main liaison between business stakeholders and the project team, ensuring requirements are well defined, documented, and implemented, while contributing to process optimization and data governance.
Your duties include :
Act as primary point of contact with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, identify process improvements, and support data governance initiatives;
Analyze business processes and workflows, producing documentation such as procedures, gap analyses, data flows, business glossaries, and data-related requirements;
Support project planning, execution, and monitoring in collaboration with program and project managers;
Develop and execute test scenarios, document results, and ensure functional requirements are met, including supporting test automation and data migration activities;
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks, ensuring data integrity, lineage, and compliance with standards;
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, challenging existing processes where necessary and co-developing pragmatic solutions;
Provide training and support to project team members and end-users during system and process transitions.
About You
At least 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Middle Office, or Operations specialist, preferably within the agricultural commodities trading sector.
Proven track record in CTRM implementation within a soft commodities environment.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, Business Administration, Finance, or Commodity Risk Management.
CBAP and/or PMP certification is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with ability to manage multiple stakeholders across time zones.
Proficiency in BA tools and platforms (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Signavio, SharePoint, Teams).
Excellent leadership and coordination skills, including managing remote teams.
Strong communication skills with an ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
Fluent English required; additional languages such as French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Vietnamese are an asset.
Travel requirements for this role:
Occasional travel to countries where the CTRM is being deployed during the project phases
Approximately 4 times per year, for up to 2 weeks each time
