Abbott’s Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD) is looking to recruit a Ethics and Compliance Director (m/f/d) Based in Basel, Switzerland – reporting to EPD’s Ethics and Compliance Officer (DVP) Primary Job Function: The Ethics and Compliance Director EPD is responsible for overseeing and continuously strengthening the Ethics and Compliance program at EPD headquarters in Switzerland, while supporting the design, implementation, and enhancement of global EPD compliance initiatives. The role serves as a strategic advisor and trusted business partner to senior leaders and key functions, providing risk-based guidance, and practical solutions to complex compliance matters. The position exercises independent judgment in identifying, assessing, and proactively mitigating compliance risks, and plays a critical role in fostering a strong culture of integrity across EPD. Core Job Responsibilities: Be a Strategic Advisor. Act as the strategic advisor for EPD’s Global Marketing and Medical functions, by Providing guidance on proposed global commercial programs and medical initiatives, identifying potential compliance issues, analyzing alternatives and working with the Legal department and other functions, as appropriate, to propose adequate and risk measured solutions.
