Emma X Childhood is socially engaged in schools at 50%. Emma X Childhood is actively involved in welcoming, protecting, and supporting minors at risk in their development. Our efforts are directed towards children as well as their parents. We implement our actions in line with the values we embody every day. Our activities are fully integrated into the child protection policy set out by Vaud. Strongly committed, the organization manages 5 and 6 units mobilizing over 250 social workers in schools at 50%. The social workers in schools intervene in 12 educational institutions in the region. The main mission is to support the student with the help of their parents and teachers, so that they develop the necessary resources to face the various challenges posed by schooling despite the endogenous or exogenous difficulties they encounter. It also involves supporting the school and/or family environment in implementing the necessary adaptations to promote the success of the student. Job responsibilities include:- Ensuring the function in the school environment in the Lavaux-Oron region- Implementing actions in school management to support students or groups of students- Conducting a causal analysis of what hinders the student's development and proposing action pathways- Accompanying and supporting teaching staff and parents in their roles with children- Collaborating closely with various stakeholders from the educational institutions and the extended network- Managing daily tasks and profile requirements: Holder of a social work degree or deemed equivalent- Minimum 8 years of experience in a role with minors, including at least one in a residential setting- Continuous experience in the field of childhood and adolescence- Good knowledge of the field of social work and its tools- Strong writing and communication skills- Good knowledge of the Vaud school system and local psychosocial network- Ability to propose adapted interventions to specific situations in a given framework- Measured and open-minded character- Personality marked by great autonomy and easily adaptable to varied contexts- Driving license and personal vehicle essentialWe offer:The possibility to invest in a dynamic and evolving work context that values talents and meets challenges.
