The Finance Graduate is closely involved in all areas of corporate finance, supporting the team in financial planning, reporting and controlling activities as well as evaluation of investment decisions. The Graduate interact closely with colleagues across the global Lonza organization to address business challenges and opportunities Lonza faces. The Finance Graduate will be rotating during 24 months in different roles supporting the Finance divisions and functions across the organization.

What you will do
As a summary, but not limited to, of their responsibilities, the Finance Graduates are:
4. Providing analysis and support the delivery of the financial reports to business plans
5. Supporting the presentation of financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances including understanding financial opportunities and risk
6. Supporting the analysis of financial information for errors and trends
7. Supporting projects and Cost Centers controlling
8. Assisting with various processes relating to procurement e.g. requisitions, purchase orders, etc.
9. Understanding the cost drivers of the business and providing insight to the non-finance members
10. Assisting with year-end and internal audits
11. Supporting M&A and divestment projects as needed
12. Supporting broader FP&A projects and supplying to continuous improvement initiatives
13. Support the preparation and analysis of SAR consolidation (Sales, Marketing, Admin, R&D) for Lonza Group
What we are looking for
14. Entry level experience in Business Administration, Engineering, Science or Information Management
15. Degree in Business Admin., Economics, Finance, or equivalent experience
16. Fluent in English, German skills preferred
Timeline and Application Process
17. Application Deadline: Candidates are invited to submit their applications untilJanuary 5th.
18. Recruitment Stages: The process will commence with an initial HR screening, followed by a first-round interview and an online technical assessment.
19. Final Assessment: The final stage will be an on-site Assessment Center Day held in our Basel office on March 24th and 25th.
