About the role
As a Working Student in the Cyber Risk & Operational Resilience team at Forvis Mazars, you will support our experts in consulting and assurance engagements in the areas of Cyber Risk, Operational Resilience and Data Protection. You will contribute to projects for various clients and gain insights into current regulatory developments as well as established cyber and risk frameworks. Topics related to AI Risk may also occasionally be part of your work.
Your responsibilities
Support Cyber Risk Assessments and assurance activities in the areas of Cyber Security, Operational Resilience (e.g. BCM), Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) and Data Protection
Contribute to Cyber Security and Compliance Assessments based on established frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST CSF, CIS Controls, etc.
Support the analysis of regulatory requirements, e.g. DORA, NIS2 and data protection / privacy regulations
Document audit and assessment results and support the preparation of findings
Prepare reports, presentations and client deliverables
Support the preparation of workshops and client meetings
Conduct research on current Cyber Risk, Operational Resilience and Privacy topics
Support business development activities, e.g. proposal preparation and presentations
Assist with events and professional forums in the areas of Cyber Risk, Resilience and AI Risk
Project-based travel to client sites
Your profile
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program, e.g. in:
o Information Systems / Business Informatics
o Computer Science / Cyber Security
o Business / Risk Management
o Law with a focus on Data Protection / Privacy or Technology
Strong interest in Cyber Risk, Operational Resilience, Governance and Data Protection
Interest in regulatory topics and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, DORA, NIS2 etc.
Analytical and detail-oriented working style with an understan
